My Question or Issue

This week, for the first time, I used the download function on Spotify Premium, so I can listen to music offline. Now every time I try to open the app or webplayer on my chromebook, I am faced with a black screen, and the only way to fix this is to uninstall (so I lose all my downloads in the app), reinstall, but when I then download again, next time I open spotify I am faced with the black screen. I have tried lots of fixes, none work.

Hi Cialo, I’m seeing the same issue on my Chromebook, black screen after downloading songs. Reinstalling works temporarily, but the problem comes back as soon as I download again. Looks like it might be a bug with offline downloads on ChromeOS; hopefully, Spotify can address it soon.
